Xiaomi is set to add a new device to its wearable lineup: the Smart Band 9 Active, an affordable fitness tracker that recently received certification from the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), signaling its upcoming global release. Ahead of the official launch, Amazon France has already listed the device along with some key details like its specifications, pricing, and a likely launch date.
As per the Amazon listing, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active, carrying the model number M2435B1, is scheduled to hit European markets on November 18th, priced at €29.99. It boasts a 1.47-inch AMOLED display capable of reaching 450 nits peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. With 5ATM water resistance, the Smart Band 9 Active is suitable for swimming and other water-based activities.
Xiaomi promises up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge, providing ample endurance for extended usage. The Smart Band 9 Active is packed with essential fitness tracking features. It includes continuous heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and a variety of sports modes to cater to different fitness preferences. The device is expected to come in three color options: Black, White, and Pink, with the possibility of more colors being introduced at launch.
In other news, Xiaomi has started rolling out the stable Android 15 update for its Xiaomi 14 smartphone in global and EEA regions, featuring the HyperOS 1.1 overlay instead of the new HyperOS 2, which is yet to launch globally. The update is currently available for selecting Mi Pilot users for early testing and feedback.
